It all started from a song created by “THE COUNCIL” featuring independent artist from Colorado, Hypnautic, King Tef, Black Pegasus and Johny Rocketz produced by ME MUSIC EMPIRE producer Johny Rocketz, then a music video that captured a lot of attention fast ft Colorado Springs artist Cnoteshce.
After all the great response from the song and movement, they did a show called I’m So Colorado at one of Denver’s respected venues The Gothic Theater
bringing ME MUSIC EMPIRE artist 2MX2 on board to bring over 900 fans to a local show is beautiful.
Hypnautic expresses, I started Colorado Dope mixtape album in 07′ within two years and 6 volumes I released over 20k albums in the streets, with the help of MF2 and all the artist involved,
After a few years off and getting a bigger team “me music empire” involved I wanted to bring it back and run with a different name and image. The purpose of the album is to get all the independent local hustlers invested in one mix to help pump dope music into everybody’s hood. Were only starting with 3k hard copies for first volume but the goal is to grow it and release one every month

Formulating the ballot each year for the Westword Music Showcase is always a daunting task, from polling our nominating committee to considering their collective input and putting the whole thing together. But it also serves as an excellent litmus test for the overall state of our scene. This year, as we assembled the ballot for the eighteenth edition of the Showcase — which takes place Saturday, June 23, across more than a dozen stages in the Golden Triangle — we couldn’t help but marvel at how much the scene continues to thrive. As you’ll see below, it’s as healthy and vibrant as ever.
Now that this year’s ballot is compiled, we need your help in determining the winners in each category. The deadline for all ballots is June 25 — which means you can wait to vote until after you’ve heard many of the acts at the Westword Music Showcase, where you can also see this year’s headliners, Girl Talk, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Battles, plus more that have yet to be announced. We’ll print the full lineup in April sometime after our upcoming Best of Denver issue.

this little girl who got bit by a pit bull,
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — One Southern Colorado Mom is still pro-pit bull. Melissa Everett’s young child was viciously attacked by one a month ago. She brought nearly ten month old Serena to the KRDO, NewsChannel 13 studios, Tuesday morning. Melissa said this about pit bulls, “Support the breed. There’s nothing wrong with the breed, just keep an eye out for your children around animals.”
Melissa Everett told us it was a terrible accident that left her child with surgeries and more in the future. The baby walker accidentally ran over the dog’s hurt leg. Serena was at her Grandfather’s house in yoder. He owned the dog. The animal did get put down, but Melissa still has nothing against the pit bull, reinforcing the message that accidents happen. While Serena and Melissa were at the studio, the little girl who has been through some big pain was all smiles. Melissa told us, she’s been like that following the attack, despite her pain.
Serena’s next surgery in in May. Skin grafts on her eye will be done. Currently she can’t close it but doctors believe that will be corrected. Don’t worry, we’ll continue to keep you updated on little Serena’s condition.
March 10th 2011 Hypnautic along with his group Top Flite (King Tef, Johny Rocketz & Big Sex) And other independent group 2MX2 (20:12) also on ME MUSIC EMPIRE record label brought over 800 local fans out to the Gothic Theater. This Well respected venue has had big names like Goodie Mob & Cee Lo, Lady Gaga, Jon B and more. Denver Colorado has a huge music scene but when any artist from ME MUSIC EMPIRE perform or headline the heads come out.

Hypnautic and his crew Top Flite hit Colorado Springs then Denver for the Devin the Dude show, both shows turned out great and as always crowds went nuts.
Every year we fill up the tour van with toys and donate them to the kids and family’s that go to Christmas Unlimited. We encourage everyone to help and donate what they can, even if it’s a used toy.
