The Council releases one of the first singles off the new upcoming album called “Sorry I Fucked Your Girl”.  They take the idea of “jersey shore” and make a parody with this hot new single.  Based around the idea that all the ladies want them, even the ones with boyfriends. So being the nice guys they are, The Council has decided to release an apology. Here is the hot new single “Sorry I Fucked Your Girl”.

Dedicated to All the Beautiful Independent Women

King Tef and Johny Rocketz take it to another level with a soul/ hip hop song that takes it back to the old school.  With Johny Rocketz on the vocals and piano, King Tef adds a smooth delivery stacked with bars.  The song describes a young lady played by (Leah Arvanitis) that any man would be willing to wait a life time to be with.  That girl that every man wants and is willing to settle down for (LOL)!!!  This ol school feel and vibe is something anyone can listen to from children up to grandparents.  Check it out below

Marilyn Monroe

King Tef and Johny Rocketz collab on this club and street banger Marilyn Monroe which pays tribute to the amzing actress and social figure Marilyn Monroe.  In the song they create metaphores based upon the idea of Marilyn Monroe wearing all white and being blonde in her most famous pictures.  The song contains a short part from Lil Wayne’s “John” that takes this single to the next level. The creativity of the video stands second to none as it only keeps yellow within the scenes and makes the rest of the video in black and white.  Marilyn Monroe is played by the beautiful Ms. Mandy Gardiner.  The video was shot at Family Affair, an urban style clothing store located in Denver Colorado. This song is creating major buzz all over the mtn region and can be found on the upcoming Top Flite album rumored to be called The Return of the 4 Horsemen.  It is also rumored that there is a remix video featuring the well known Colorado Hip Hop artist Innerstate Ike!!  [vsw id="IfCt6m8Nkfo" source="youtube" width="700" height="344" autoplay="no"]

Something for the ladies and a Club remix by the Cheff

In Oct. 2011 King Tef & Johny Rocketz released something special for the ladies with the video and song “Touch”.  In this video King Tef plays a boyfriend on the road in the music business while his girlfriend, played by Sheena Marie, is at home anticipating his return.  During the song Tef describes the sexual wants and feelings created from not seeing a significant other over an amount of time.  With the smooth soothing sound of Johny Rocketz, this song brings back the old school R&B feeling.  King Tef brings a fast yet smooth delivery to this track that is reminiscent of LL Cool J but with Ludacris type swag.  [vsw id="0bBftpIHWIU" source="youtube" width="700" height="344" autoplay="no"]

On Nov. 11th Cheff Premier Created a club version to this track.  Known as one of the top producers in the mtn region, Cheff Premier takes this slow jam to another level wit an up tempo club remix.  This remix has been placed over the original video. [vsw id="GcUqtv8CFpQ" source="youtube" width="700" height="344" autoplay="no"]

Party Life Music Video done by ME Music Empire’s Empire Filmz and Top Fite Empire

Featuring: Johny Rocketz & King Tef Produced by Jesus “The Chef”

After headlining the haunted hotel on Halloween 2011 we recorded the party life video!!

Event organizers The Collective kicked off the Holiday season of parties and festivities in Denver in spectacular fashion on Saturday, October 29, 2011. The event dubbed the Haunted Hotel completely sold out two hotels in the Tech Center for an evening that drew a wide range of creativity. Party goers were adorned in everything from the fantastical and freakish to the classic cute and clever. The entertainment was of course highlighted by some of Denver’s finest musical talent playing four different rooms between the two hotels all night long. Headliners included That 80’s Band, Ali Pierre, Hypnautic, Johny Rocketz & King Tef as well as top dj’s like Boyhollow, DJ Mada and DJ Bedz among many others.

I spoke with one of the members of The Collective prior to the event and he said “Our goal is to provide an experience to our guests where they can have a weekend getaway.” Adding, “We’ve seen this evolve from 800 people to over 6,000 people in attendance. We plan on growing it to over 10,000 and making it a huge block party with tents and vendors connecting the two hotels.” The concept and execution offered equal parts visual and audio stimulation creating an environment where those that attended could freely lose themselves and their inhibitions in the safety of a fantastical party.
